Greetings my dears
As you may have noticed, it’s been a while since I came here the last time…
Well, that’s because I’ve just started working two weeks ago as a Marketing operator for the biggest Portuguese phone-line company (PT Comunicações) and due to that I haven’t had the time I wanted to come here more often…
I’m quite happy with the work I do, not only because it is an easy job where I spend half of the day making calls promoting our products to residential costumers and enterprises but also because working there I can get a way of start working on something I really want to do professionally in the future: Web-design…
You might be thinking “how does a job in a phone-line company can get me a way to work as a web-designer?”…
Well, the thing is that we also sell and do wed-pages for our costumers if they desire to have one and, as far as I know and as far as I have noticed, one of the reasons why they hired me was the fact that I have some knowledge about web-design… I know this ‘cause when they where explaining the type of web-pages they make, they asked me a lot of questions about what I know about making sites and they wanted to see the work I do as a Digital Artist…
So, I guess that someday they will get me into their “design team”…
But there is big BUT in this job that it’s making me a little uncomfortable… That is the fact that my payment is related to the products I may sell… There is no regular salary at the end of the month, I only get paid for what I may sell… No matter how many calls I make during a month (and I usually make 100 calls a day in 4 hours of work) or how many appointments I book during a month… If I don’t get to sell a single product (phone- line or TV+Net+Phone) I don’t get paid… and that would be a really big problem… I would be spending a lot of money everyday with the bus and other things for nothing, if you know what I mean…
I don’t really want to quit this job due to opportunity that it may give me to work with what I want to do for a living but, if I see that I’m not selling anything I’ll have to take my parents advice and look for another job…
What would you do if you were on my shoes???

But let’s leave this behind and start talking about other things…

I’ve been thinking about creating a new category on this account with some of my clothing design…
Maybe it would be quite interesting to have almost all of my Art interests in one account… perhaps it could make it more tasteful…
But, as I always do, I would like to know what you think about that???


Subscription
I’m desperately needing a new subscription to deal with all the comments and favs that I’ve been receiving, mostly now that I’m working and the time I have to come and update my account is extremely short and does not allow me to thank and answer all the comments and favs…
So, if someone could donate me a new subscription I would be more than thankful…
Also I will give a journal feature during the time the donated subscription lasts; a dedicated new picture inspired by her/his art; and an exclusive full body model pack from a photo session that I’ll be making tomorrow…
